If dock is getting disordered. Many of applications that you needed, but did not use them all of that often. So there is an simple trick on how to make a custom App stacks for them. This is a several-step process which is given below:
- Make a folder some where (I have made it in the ~/Applications which is different than the system-wide Applications folder).
- Open your Applications folder in any another Finder window.
- You are going to make specified name to your real apps in this step. Hold down command and option and drag an app you want to quick access to and drop it in the folder you made.
- Repeat this for as many as apps as you want.
- Drag the folder with all the own names to the right side of your Dock, just to the left of the Trash button.
- Enjoy!. The folder will have specified names to all your apps.
